Volunteer Descriptions
Church Volunteer Opportunities
Sunday Greeter:
A smiling face can go a long way! Sunday Greeters are stationed at each entrance before the service, welcoming everyone, handing out bulletins, and directing people to coffee, donuts, or restrooms. Greeters also assist with communion and offering during the service.
Sunday Donuts Retrieval:
Everyone loves a morning snack! The Sunday Donuts Retrieval team is responsible for picking up donuts each Sunday before services begin.
Coffee Bar Team:
Nobody likes a morning without coffee. The Coffee Bar Team ensures there's plenty of hot coffee, tea, and other beverages available for everyone who comes to church on Sunday mornings.
Tech Team:
If you're tech-savvy, the Media Team is for you! They operate the A/V booth, ensuring the worship team sounds great, slides move smoothly, and streaming works flawlessly.
Video Team:
The Video Team creates engaging videos for the service, including skits, video testimonies, and church updates.
Worship Team:
If you enjoy leading in worship as a singer or instrumentalist, we'd love to invite you to join the Worship Team. Help us lead the congregation in worship before God’s throne!
Trash Removal Team:
Help us keep the church grounds clean. If you have a large car or truck, you can assist with keeping the property free of waste.
Snow Removal Crew:
Winter weather is here, and we need your help keeping our stairs and entryways clear of snow and ice. Help us keep everyone safe during the colder months!
Incident Response Team:
If you have a knack for organization or practical skills that could help during emergencies, join our Incident Response Team to be prepared and assist when needed.
Parking Ministry:
Help our congregation get parked and settled on Sundays. The Parking Ministry ensures people can find a spot and get into the service easily and efficiently.
Fellowship Meal Team:
If you love to cook, we’d love to have you on the Fellowship Meal Team. We host meals on the 5th Sunday of the month and for special events, and your help with organizing and serving would be greatly appreciated!
Life Group Host:
Community thrives in homes. As a Life Group Host, you open your home to fellow believers for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.
Life Group Facilitator:
Guide others in their faith journey. If you have the gift of leadership, we'd love to help you learn how to facilitate a Life Group. We’ll equip you with the tools and training you need to lead well.
Children/Youth Volunteers
NextGen Kids Teacher:
Do you love working with kids? NextGen Kids teachers are needed for age-specific groups (nursery, K-1st, 2-3rd, or 4-5th grade). You’ll help kids lay a foundation for their faith, with lesson plans provided.
NextGen Kids Crafts:
If you’re not into teaching but enjoy crafts, this is the place for you! Work with the NextGen Kids teachers to create fun, craft-related activities for the kids.
NextGen Kids Activities:
Not an artist or teacher? You can lead games, run obstacle courses, and keep the kids active and engaged during NextGen Kids church.
Events Volunteers
Christmas Volunteer:
'Tis the season to serve! Christmas Eve services are one of the busiest times of the year, and we need help with parking, ushering, running the hot chocolate station, or reading Scripture. Sign up to help out during this busy and festive season!
Worship at the Park Volunteer:
We take church outside in the summer! Join us at Stanley Park for Worship at the Park, where we need help with setup, teardown, and ensuring everyone has a great time during our outdoor service.
Easter Volunteer:
Easter is a special day as we celebrate Jesus' resurrection! We can use extra hands for communion, coffee, and worship. Let us know if you’d like to serve on this significant day.
Community Events Team:
Estes Valley has lots of family-friendly events, and we love having a presence at them. If you’re interested in representing CCEP at local events and helping us make an impact in the community, the Community Events Team is for you!
