Beliefs

What we believe about Jesus, the Bible, and the Church

Our Mission Statement

BE DISCIPLES THAT BUILD GENERATIONAL TRANSFORMATIONAL DISCIPLES.

Our Beliefs

Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

The Trinity

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The Bible

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We also believe that Scripture exhorts all believers to express their faith through belief, confession, repentance, baptism (by immersion), and discipleship.

The Separation

We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

The Reconciliation

We believe that people are saved by God’s grace through personal faith in Christ Jesus as their personal Lord (God) and Savior. We believe that faith is expressed through belief, confession, repentance, baptism, and discipleship.

The Church

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe God created and commissioned the local church to act as His body, His bride, and His family in their community. It is in the local church that believers worship God corporately, fellowship with each other in community, minister to each other as well as to their neighbors, practice generosity, and grow spiritually as Christ’s disciples.

We believe that God desires all believers to be an active part of their local church.

We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
